Miss Universe 2015

Hello followers this post is on the 64th edition of the Miss Universe 2015 . As a lifestyle blogger I have always tried my best to keep my readers updated with every events related mainly to fashion & style. Beauty pageants are something which has always been in my hit list ever since I was a kid , I have always had that urge to never miss a single thing about the pageants . This year it was so fantastic to see someone deserving win no matter how the event got way more than controversial due to the result that was mistakely  announced . Anyway the show was a super big success like every time and people who missed it should definitely go through my blog reviews here -             Miss Universe 2015, the 64th edition of the Miss Universe pageant, was held on 20 December 2015 at the The AXIS in Las VegasNevada, United States.[Paulina Vega of Colombia crowned her successor Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines. Eighty contestants competed in the 2015 event.

This was the first edition of the Miss Universe pageant to be held under the ownership of WME/IMG, which purchased the Miss Universe Organization from Donald Trump on September 14, 2015, three days after NBCUniversal sold him its 50% interest in the organization in exchange for Trump's dropping a breach of contract lawsuit he filed against the media company in August for terminating NBC's contract to televise the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants. Consequently, it is also the first Miss Universe event to be aired by Fox and Azteca, which replaced NBC and UniMás (the respective parents of both networks, NBCUniversal and Univision Communications, terminated their rights to the pageant as a result of Trump's incendiary statements against Mexican immigrants during his speech announcing his candidacy for the Republican Party nomination for President of the United States on June 16) as the pageant's respective English and Spanish broadcasters.

The telecast was notable for an error in which host Steve Harvey mistakenly announced Ariadna Gutiérrez, who represented Colombiain that year's pageant, as Miss Universe 2015, even though the judges had decided that Pia Wurtzbach from the Philippines had won.Gutiérrez was initially crowned though about three minutes later, following Harvey's admission of his error, the crown was removed by Vega from Gutiérrez and given to Wurtzbach. The telecast abruptly ended without Wurtzbach's performing the traditional walk with the crown. Also, credits weren't shown and the broadcast cut to the closing logos automatically after the apology.

Congratulation once again Philippines , what I liked about the winner this time is her simplicity and motivation towards the crown . Her final answer was worth it & the best, she was honest about her major goals after the pageant and she could totally ignite the essence of being a  proud Philippino by associating her cause she will fight for - Hiv aids with her country Philippines. It was not the normal beauty contest answer , Pia spoke so well from within and blew the judges as well as the viewers out of their mind as she stood there bold , beautiful and confident . Totally in love with who she is , the lady in blue did it yess !!!

I'm working on my closet give away post for a change now so to all my lovely readers out there , patience is the right word for you all till then keep following STT . Love , Spot the trend xx

10 Best places to party in Kolkata !

Hello and a warm Namaste everybody , welcome to my lifestyle blog -  SPOT THE TREND . Moving on to the city had been so challenging when I took this decision three years back but now when I see on the little things that I have achieved or learnt so far I have no regrets at all . The city life has polished me to become a WARRIOR  and deal with my own battle with confidence and self esteem. I started young at 17 and have been doing events here in Kolkata and in my hometown Kalimpong since there years.  Weekend Night outs , Fashion shows , Northeast events and some social events too .  But to be honest I think Fashion shows are my baseline and definitely love of my life . I  have already organised more than 50 + events and definitely more to come. When I started it few years back , a lot of people discouraged me and surprisingly they were also from the same field of events. I didn't want to be their COMPETITOR to be really honest here  , I just wanted a simple...
